Chris Kelly was an American rapper and member of the rap duo Kriss Kross who had a net worth of $100 thousand. Chris Kelly died on May 1st, 2013 of an apparent drug overdose at the age of 34. Kelly, along with his friend Chris Smith were discovered at 13 by a then little known producer named Jermaine Dupri at an Atlanta mall.
Dupri helped the duo land record deal and produce their smash hit song “Jump”. Jump went on to be the #1 song on Billboard for eight straight weeks. Their album “Totally Krossed Out” sold over four million copies. Kriss Kross, who were famous for wearing their clothes backwards, quickly landed a spot on Michael Jackson’s Dangerous tour.
