Charles Zegar is an American billionaire and computer scientist who has a net worth of $1.2 billion. Best known for being one of the four co-founders of Bloomberg L.P., Zegar re-enters the billionaire ranks thanks to the company’s revenues of $7.9 billion in 2012. A significant re-positioning from the rise also saw, Michael Bloomberg and Thomas Secunda, Zegar’s fellow billionaires and co-founders of the financial data giant.

Shortly after he earned his master’s degree in computer science at NYU, Zegar became one of the Bloomberg’s co-founders building the first terminal for the company.
