Carl Bennet is a Swedish industrialist who has a net worth of $1.6 billion. A billionaire that avoids public exposure, Mr. Bennet has generated his wealth through an investing vehicle that he owns outright, Carl Bennet AB.B.orn Carl Reinhold Adolf Bennet on 19 August 1951 in Helsingborg, he got educated at the University of Gothenburg, after which he started to work at Kockums finance department in Malmö in 1970.
It was in 1989 that he founded his Carl Bennet AB, through which he now owns stakes in seven different companies active in a wide range of industries: medical products, biomedical research, printing, dental products, forestry and investing.
