Ever since, she has worked as a news anchor and/or reporter in San Diego, New York City, and Los Angeles, as well as acted in such productions as Reading Rainbow, Carnivale, and Nip/Tuck. Now she is the current owner of Camp Casey in Crawford, Texas and is the mother of two children who both have ectrodactyly. In 2010 Walker was inducted into the San Diego Women’s Hall of Fame.
