Bobby Knight is a retired American basketball coach who has a net worth of $15 million dollars. Bobby Knight was born on October 15, 1940. He is known for being one of the winning-est coaches in men’s college basketball history. Within the NCAA Division I, Bobby won 902 games.

That’s the highest of any retired coach, and third behind current coaches. He served as head coach for the Indiana Hoosiers from 1971 until 2000, followed by Texas Tech from 2001 until 2008. Before his tenure with the Hoosiers, he also coached Army from 1965 until 1971. Knight is also credited for changing the way modern coaches approach the game, specifically by popularizing the motion offense. Though he is generally recognized for keeping his programs free of reprimands, he famously threw a chair across the court during a game. Since retiring, he has served as a part-time commentator with ESPN. Knight was married to Nancy Falk from 1963 to 1985. They have two sons, Tim and Pat. Pat played for his dad at Indiana and then went on to serve as head coach at Lamar. Knight married Karen Vieth Edgar, a former high school coach, in 1988.
