They released the albums Switch in 1978 which reached #6 on the US R&B chart and the album Switch II in 1979 which reached #8 on the US R&B chart. DeBarge was also featured on the band’s albums Reaching for Tomorrow and This Is My Dream in 1980. Bobby DeBarge was featured on the DeBarge album Bad Boys in 1987. His only solo album It’s Not Over was released in 1995. Bobby DeBarge passed away on August 16, 1995 at 39 years old from AIDS complications.
