Angela Rippon is an English journalist, newsreader, presenter, and writer who has a net worth of $10 million. Angela Rippon was born in Plymouth, Devon, England in October 1944. She became a regular presenter on BBC One’s None O’Clock News in 1975 and was the first female journalist to permanently present the BBC national TV news.

She presented the first two seasons of the television series Top Gear and also presented the series Come Dancing. Rippon was a co-founder and presenter on the franchise TV-am. From 1990 to 1994 she presented the radio news programs for LBC Newstalk. She has authored 14 books and was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 2004.
