Andrew Lessman became fascinated with nutrition and vitamins while in junior high school, and designed his first science fair experiment around how vitamin use affected the health of his pet mice. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in biochemistry, he went on to the University of Hawaii for medical school.
He eventually chose to shift his focus and left medical school. He graduated from Loyola University Law School and began a career as a lawyer a few years later. While training for a decathlon during law school, he began designing his own vitamin regimen.
