Allison Schmitt is an American competitive swimmer who has a net worth of $2 million. Allison Schmitt was born in Canton, Michigan in June 1990. She specializes in freestyle events and has competed in the Olympic Games in 2008, 2012, and 2016. Schmitt swam for the University of Georgia and the clubs Plymouth Canton Cruisers, North Baltimore Aquatic Club, and Club Wolverine.

She is an eight-time Olympic medalist and won a Bronze in her debut in the 4×200 meter freestyle relay in 2008. At the 2012 Olympics in London she won Gold Medals in the 200 meter freestyle, the 4×200 meter freestyle relay, and the 4×100 meter medley relay. Schmitt also won a Silver Medal in the 400 meter freestyle and a Bronze in the 4×100 meter freestyle relay. She was a four time NCAA national champion in the 200 and 500 yard freestyle swimming events and helped the Bulldogs win the NCAA Division I Women’s championship in 2013. Schmitt was named a captain for the 2016 U.S. Olympic Swim Team where she won a Gold Medal in the 4 x 200 meter freestyle relay and a Silver in the 4 x 100 meter freestyle relay.
