Alberto Cortina is a Spanish businessman who has a net worth of $1.5 billion. Cortina derives most of his wealth from his 50% stake in the investment firm Alcor Holdings. The other half of Alcor Holdings is held by Cortina’s cousin, Alberto Alcocer. The two were once married to sisters Alicia and Esther Koplowitz, daughters of the founder of Construcciones y Contratas (now called FCC), a large Spanish construction company.
