Alan Tudyk is an American actor and voice artist who has a net worth of $2 million. He is best known for his role on the ABC sitcom, Suburgatory and as Hoban “Wash” Washburne in the space western television series, Firefly. He also played the role of Wat in A Knight’s Tale and had a starring role in the film 42 as Ben Chapman.

He has voiced Disney animated films like Wreck-It-Ralph where he played King Candy, and more recently voiced The Duke of Weselton in the hit movie Frozen. He was born on March 16, 1971 in El Paso, Texas and was raised in Plano, Texas. Tudyk studied drama at the Methodist-affiliated Lon Morris Junior College in Jacksonville, Texas and won the Academic Excellence Award for drama. He entered Juilliard after leaving college, but left in 1996 before earning his degree. As his career started out, he appeared in a number of smaller stage productions, and had a small role in the movie Patch Adams before landing his first Broadway role in 1999 with Epic Proportions. From there, his acting began to really take off and he has achieved a lucrative, well-rounded, and successful career for over a decade. Tudyk currently lives in New York City but also has a place in Los Angeles, California.
