In his first year in Gonzaga, Morrison and his experience with diabetes were the part of a four-page story published in Sports Illustrated.
The day that the story was published in stores over 50 parents of children suffering from diabetes approached Gonzaga Athletics Department. Gonzaga athletics department to inquire whether Morrison could talk with their kids.
