He is an infielder who throws and bats right left handed. He was selected by the Anaheim Angels in the 2000 MLB Draft but turned down the opportunity and enrolled at Louisiana State University. Hill was not drafted until 2003 as number 13 and was then selected by The Toronto Blue Jays. Hill began his MLB debut in 2005 with the Blue Jays where he played until the end of 2011.
